SharePoint Developer Position

The SharePoint Developer will perform business analyst, and development duties for projects that are delivered on the SharePoint platform. The position will also be responsible for systems integration with other applications, Vision ERP, Custom Reporting and Active Directory.
Essential job duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Identify and document end-user business requirements and enhancement requests;
  • Provide estimates for development tasks;
  • Responsible for the entire software development life-cycle for the project;
  • Provide Tier 1 support for SharePoint based applications;
  • Responsible for staying current in the latest technologies and software development processes;
  • Follows industry standard software development techniques and methodologies;
  • Mentor colleagues on the development team;
  • Work with the technology architect to design industry leading applications.
SharePoint specific skills should include most of the following:
  • SharePoint BCS integration
  • SharePoint workflow creation
  • Custom SharePoint Web Apps
  • Search customization
  • Mobile browser optimizations using SharePoint platform
  • Authentication customization
  • SharePoint Farm configurations, including Web Apps, site collections, sites and security
  • SharePoint integration with Microsoft BI services including SSRS, SSAS, Power View, PowerPivot, PerformancePoint and Excel services
The successful candidate will possess:
  • A Bachelor’s degree in computer science from an accredited college or university, or an equivalent combination of education and experience;
  • Two or more years of experience in developing enterprise systems including discovery, design, construction and implementation;
  • One year of development with SharePoint 2010 or newer;
  • Systems integration experience in a Microsoft networking environment - C#, ASP.net, VB.net, Java Script;
  • SQL Server, with a strong understanding of database design and data.

Data Integrity Analyst I

Data integrity is a key component to Noel-Levitz’s success as we help our higher education clients reach their enrollment management goals. Working closely with Senior and Executive Consultants, the Data Integrity Analysts at Noel-Levitz oversee a client base of 10 to 18 institutions. Primary responsibilities include reviewing data files for proper format, completing data integrity checks, identifying, investigating, and resolving data anomalies, coding institutional specific integrity checks and data updates using SQL, preparing various reports and analyses, and ensuring the overall validity of all data and reports for the successful delivery of the Financial Aid Services component analyses.
Essential job duties and responsibilities include:
  • Complete initial client set-up in web-based data processing tool, including institutional parameters, populations, data mapping, and custom exports. Code institutional specific integrity checks and data updates using SQL. Create custom reports using excel templates and/or reporting services.
  • Review, analyze, and perform manual and automated integrity checks on student admissions and financial aid data. Identify, investigate, and resolve data anomalies using problem-solving, logic, and critical thinking to ensure complete and accurate data.
  • Provide ongoing data and web processing support to client base. Advise consultants and clients as to additional data needs and file submission dates to meet critical delivery deadlines. Serve as liaison between consultants and clients to ensure the highest level of customer service.
  • Generate and review data output, client reports, and consultant analyses to ensure their overall accuracy, completeness, and adherence to established standards.
  • Maintain institutional specific data processing instructions and documentation via Microsoft OneNote.
The successful candidate will possess:
  • A bachelor’s degree in math, computer science, business, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • Successful experience within an institution of higher education, preferably in an admissions, financial aid, or enrollment management environment is helpful, but not required.
  • Previous experience with databases, SQL, or helpdesk experience is required.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and most notably, Excel experience is required.
  • Candidates must also have strong attention to detail, possess the ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrate critical thinking and problem solving skills, prioritize, execute, and complete tasks under tight deadlines, as well as portray excellent communication skills.
  • Occasional overnight business travel will be required as well as periodic overtime.
