With more than 10 years of experience in financial aid and admissions, Paul Borens offers a wide range of knowledge and expertise. He specializes in optimizing financial aid packages and improving recruitment strategies.
Previous campus experience
Mr. Borens has held positions at both Northland College (WI) and Milwaukee School of Engineering. As the dean of admission and financial aid at Northland College, Mr. Borens led the development of better strategic recruitment practices. He also worked closely with the community and student body to expand the reach of Northland's liberal arts mission.
Mr. Borens also served as the director of financial aid at Northland College, overseeing all operations of the financial aid office and analyzing the institution's gift aid to maximize initial scholarship offers. Prior to his tenure at Northland College, he served as the director of admission for the Milwaukee School of Engineering, where he developed a segmented marketing plan to increase enrollment in under-enrolled programs.
