Noel-Levitz consultant Michael FrantzMichael Frantz consults for Noel-Levitz from his position as vice president of enrollment management at Buena Vista University (IA) where he supervises undergraduate admissions and financial aid. He has over 22 years of experience in campus admissions, recruitment, financial aid planning, marketing and enrollment consulting.

His consulting, partner campuses have included American International College (MA), Alderson-Broaddus College (WV), University of Dallas (TX), Oral Roberts University (OK), University of St. Mary (KS), Paul Smith's College (NY), Schreiner College (TX), Oglethorpe University (GA),
Freed-Hardemann (TN), Emerson College (MA) and University of Michigan-Flint.

Prior to his return to Buena Vista, he served as vice president of enrollment at Robert Morris University (PA). During his three years at RMU he oversaw the recruitment of the three largest freshmen classes in its history. Quality increased by 10 SAT points, while net revenue and diversity also rose.

Before coming to Robert Morris, he served as vice president of enrollment at Wilkes University (PA) where freshman enrollment rose from an average of 378 in the three years prior to his arrival to an average of 592 over his last three years while overseeing increases in diversity and net revenue and a decrease in acceptance rate.

Mr. Frantz began his enrollment career at Buena Vista as an admissions counselor and culminated with four years as director of admissions. As director he helped engineer a 10 percent increase in new student enrollment including freshman class that remains the largest in its history. 

Presentations and education

Mr. Frantz has presented nationally at the American Marketing Association; the National Conference on Student Recruitment, Marketing, and Retention; Carnegie Communication's National Conference; The College Board; and the Pennsylvania and Iowa Associations of College Admissions Counselors Conferences. He holds a master's of arts degree from the University of Iowa and a bachelor's degree from Simpson College (IA).
