Laura McPhie Oliveira

Laura McPhie Oliveira consults directly from her post as vice president for enrollment management at Salve Regina University (RI). As a consultant for Noel-Levitz, she offers 25 years of admissions, marketing and financial aid experience and a proven track record for getting results. She has consulted on more than 20 campuses nationwide.
At Salve Regina, Dr. Oliveira oversees admissions, financial aid, career development, and retention statistics. Under her leadership, applications have more than quadrupled, the university has enrolled record freshman classes, improved diversity, and incoming students' average SAT scores have increased by more than 200 points. Her previous positions include director of admissions at Pine Manor College (MA) and partnership in MM&L Consulting of Boston.
Publications, associations, and education
Active at the national level, Dr. Oliveira has published articles in educational and academic journals and is a frequent speaker at professional conferences.
Dr. Oliveira currently serves as president of the National Catholic College Admissions Association and is on the governing board of the New England Association of College Admissions Counselors. Previously she served on the Regional Council of the New England Office of the College Board. She has also presented at The Boston Globe College Workshops and served as a college counselor for students serving in Boston's City Year program.
Dr. Oliveira holds a doctorate from the University of Massachusetts Boston.
